Hi again friends-

for those of you against sprawl in your local area... watch this news clip! I'm in the video... back left corner in the cream northface jacket :)

stop sprawl! save the forests!

So that's it. My last fall semester of college. Completed as of today! YESSSS. This was by far the hardest, yet best semester of my life. I think I got all A's. :)

Drove home tonight around 7 and went to the bar with Michelle and Britt. Raynham might not be Amherst, but as long as I have my girls, that's all that matters... and that's something I came to realize tonight. <3

I'm gonna miss everyone at school though for the next few weeks! Ah! I had a job interview at a day spa yesterday which seemed to go very well... hopefully I'll hear back from them soon. I need money!!!

Huge blizzard coming tomorrow? Kinda bummed since I was gonna go to Newport and or Boston for the night... we'll see what happens... but I am pretty excited to get snowed in and relax after the ridiculous past 2 weeks of school work. Hopefully my family doesn't drive me crazyyy! Hmm, maybe I'll get some hot chocolate and peppermint schnapps tomorrow morning before the flakes come... ;)

Hope everyone has a safe and fun snow day!

Ciao amici!

Miracle Drug

Whoever said senior year of college was a breeze is a liar! Senior year is no joke!! Yeesh! I'm up to my neck in papers, projects, and exams... but hey, it's almost over :)

Woke up at 7 this morning and it was snowing out!!! yay!!! If it's going to be freezing out it might as well be snowing, right? So I watched the snow out my window and danced around listening to Christmas music hehe

I'm debating if I want to go out and buy the Dark Knight that just came out on DVD today... I still haven't seen it!

So much more work to do tonight... if I was prescribed Adderall aaalll the time, I'd be valedictorian.

Time for a quick nap before getting down to business! Ciao!

When going through hell, keep going...

Feeling much better today... sorry for the angry posts! haha Classes are finishing up and it's time for finals. Papers, projects, tests... yikes!!! I just got my Econ midterm handed back today and I got a 100 on it??? Awesome.

Ran errands with Kaleigh today after classes and then did a mani and pedi :) Now it's time to hit the gym and go tanning before the bars tonight. I love getting my work done early!

*PS: Welcome new blog follower Carolyn :) Thanks for reading!

Gobble Gobble...

Happy Thanksgiving! What a tiring day. After having done all the dishes and cleaned the kitchen and house for my mom after the family left tonight, it made me so grateful for all that she normally does! Yikes. Then we played Scrabble for hours while the men watched football and played poker and I got rocked every time. "GRANDMA IS A CHEATING WHORE!"-Dane Cook.

I'm beat! And despite all I ate today... I'm still hungry! Hmph. Way too tired to go out to the bars for the 4th night in a row with my hometown heroes so I'm plopped on the couch watching Home Alone with a glass of wine. Not too shabby a night.

Last night I drunkenly played with my friends Chihuahua and he told me his sister was trying to find her a new home since she works like 60 hours a week and can't ever play with her. OBVIOUSLY since the dog loves me I said I'd look into taking her! She's an adorable 2 year old named Bella. I mentioned the dog in general to my mom this morning and she was like I LOVE CHIHUAHUA'S!!!! So I obviously mentioned us taking it and she LOVED the idea?! What the hell was wrong with the universe this morning??? We mentioned it to dad tonight and he said no because it was too hard when our last dog died... but this dog will outlive him. TRUTH. And not to mention, after May I will no longer live here anyways so he won't have to deal with it. (If I brought Bella to my apartment in Amherst, she would FREAK OUT!!! Too many people.) So yeah, I'm working on dad tomorrow! Definitely would love to have a dog again... especially since I don't have a stud to snuggle with at night...

Home to me is reality, and all I need is something real

No coffee spilt. And nothing else will be spilt either ;)

So I have a room clean and one Urban Geography class at 1:00 standing in the way of me going home for Thanksgiving break until Sunday! AWESOME. I always look forward to going home and helping Mum prepare all the fixings and get the turkey ready and clean the house. You see, my mom? HATES Christmas. And almost every other holiday. I call her Scrooge. But for some reason she just loooves Thanksgiving! So I embrace her love for the holiday and good mood as much as I can.

So all of the typical characters come over for the feast of course. We always have Thanksgiving at my house, and I can't wait to have my 4 favorite F's: Football, Food, Friends, & Family, & Booze. (What? How'd that get in there?) My mom's family always comes but my dad's side generally does their own thing. I think it's my goal in life when I'm married with kids to have the biggest party for every holiday so EVERYONE can come and celebrate together... I hate being torn apart from my cousins because we all have separate destinations...

I guess I should stop procrastinating, wipe the sleepies out of the corners of my eyes (yeah, I just woke up... so if this doesn't make sense...), and pack up my room to go home! Happy Thanksgiving!

Coffee House Romance?

So I've been blabbing about this so called "perfect man" right? And I just began to wonder, I've been so miserable about men I don't even think I'd know what to do if I found a new one! Not to brag but I would consider myself pretty good at dating. I can juggle a few at a time, play the necessary mind games to lure them in, and even be an amazing monogamous five-year girlfriend that I was to Colby. Alas, I've been out of the game so long I fear that I may have lost my touch! And I have a coffee date tonight?! EEEEE!! :)

So, I met this guy at a bar on campus during senior night last week and have had a few drinks (maybe sometimes a few too many...) with him uptown a couple times since we've met. I've recently discovered that not only is he good looking, witty, sweet, and has an amazing accent that sounds British but is really Bostonian, he is THE LEAD SINGER IN A BAND! A good band at that, since of course I creeped them on their website. They sell his CDs at Newbury Comics! Ah! Did I ever mention it was always my dream to date a guy in a band and have him serenade me and write amazing lyrics about us??? Could I get any cornier...

Wish me luck tonight... I'll probably spill coffee all over him. Goodbye loverboy... SIGHHH

Fresh start.

So here I am at 1am laying in bed watching some lame, low budget Hillary Duff movie, The Perfect Man, on TBS and despite it's awful story line which I'm having a hard time paying attention to, it got my gears going. What comprises the "PERFECT" man anyway? At one point in time, I'm pretty sure we've all thought ex-boyfriends were perfect [HA!] but look where they wound up... So where the hell can I find this perfect man? Is he even out there?

So, the perfect man is defined as... oh I don't know... charming, funny, sweet but asshole enough to keep you wanting more and not make him seem like a fool, shows up with flowers from time to time, calls you back when you hang up on him, good looking of course... Is there really any one person that has all it takes to keep you interested for the rest of your life?

After telling one of my male friends tonight that I was watching "The Perfect Man," I told him not to make fun of me since it described my life to a tee... finding a guy that I don't get sick of within a week He then tried to explain to me that there is no such thing as a perfect guy. There will always be some guy that I'll like watching TV with, or another I enjoy going to dinner with, or another guy I enjoy... well- you get the point. Could it be that there is NO such thing as the perfect guy? Maybe it's just a matter of seeing an imperfect perfectly...

Buona notte!
